Conference Twitter

The organisers of the 2010 Tuning in to Diversity conference made a twitterpage:

Tuning2010
www.twitter.com/tuning2010.

Participants of the conference are invited to follow the Tuning 2010 twitter and to 'tweet' about the conference. This way participant can post comments on the twitter and people who can't be at the conference can follow what's going on at the Millenaris center in Budapest.

The 'hash tag' for the twitter is: #Tid2010

This is how it works:
If you have your own twitter account already you can tweet about the conference using your own page.
- Log in in to your own twitter account
- Type in what you want to say about the conference in the box below 'What's
happening' and add on the end of the message the hash tag #Tid2010. This is
really important. This way the message appears on your own twitter page AND
on the Tuning2010 twitter page with the #Tid2010 hash tag.
-  If you click on the hash tag #Tid2010 you will see all the messages everyone
posted with the hash tag #Tid2010. This way you can see everybodies
   comments.

The hash tag is really important. Even if you don't want to post any comments but just want to see what is going on at the conference you can go to your own twitter account, go to the search application on the right of your screen, type in #Tid2010, press enter and you will see the #Tid2010 page.

If you don't have your own twitter account yet... Maybe this is the time to create one... Go to www.twitter.com and click on Sign up now. You will have your own twitter account within 5 minutes!
