Day One – Thursday, February the 25th:

14:00 – 14:30:  Opening of the Conference:

14:30 – 15:30:  Talk show on “How diversity is implemented in European
                       media?”
moderated by Kriszta Toth, anchor woman at 
                       MTV, with:
                       - Frans Jennekens, President of the IDPG group of the
                         EBU, and Diversity Manager at NPS (Dutch Public
                         Broadcaster);
                       - Janos Daroczi, President of the Roma Foundation Office, 
                         Hungary;
                       - Myria Georgiou, Lecturer, London School of
                         Economics;
                       - Ed Klute, Director Mira Media (Dutch National Expertise
                         Center on Media and Diversity).

                       25 participants each one, in preparation of the Day Two

                       - Introduction by Daniela Drastata, HRT (Croatian Public
                         Broadcaster)
                       - Screening of 2 episodes: Roma in Spain and Roma in
                         Poland
                       - Q&A session 

21:30:              Closure of the first day of the Conference


Day Two – Friday, February the 26th:

10:00 – 10:30:  Plenary session: Presentation of a video report on Day One
                       and introduction to the workshops to the workshops of Day
                       Two

10:30 – 12:30:  Morning workshops
 (8 workshops running in parallel)

            Workshops for international NGOs:
            1. Media and NGOs, a touchy relationship: strategies to get into
                the media
            2. When the media get it wrong
            3. Alternative information: tools NGOs can use to fulfil lacking
                information

Workshops for PSBs/mainstream media:
4. One Diversity Toolkit, several training methods
5. Approaching and organising diversity in mainstream media
6. From minority programming to multicultural programming
 
            7. Workshop for researchers            
            8. Workshop for Hungarian NGOs (in Hungarian)

7. Monitoring media coverage: Why? When? Which media? With
